Our Story

Some of the best ideas come from the most ordinary moments.

Ours came somewhere between burnt toast and a counter covered in crumbs.

For as long as we can remember, our toaster lived on a cookie sheet. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't designed for the job. But it caught the crumbs, protected the counter, and got the job done — so we left it there and stopped thinking about it.

Then we upgraded our toaster.

Our girls have strong opinions about breakfast. A 2-slice wasn't cutting it anymore. So we bought a 4-slice, slid it onto the same old cookie sheet we'd been using for years — and it didn't fit.

That was the moment.

We went looking for something better. Something made specifically for the toaster. Something that would look intentional on a counter instead of improvised. Something worth leaving out permanently.

It didn't exist.

We'd said it to each other for years — someone should really make this — but no one had. The name Toaster Coaster had been a running joke in our house long before it was a brand. Eventually we stopped waiting.

We built it ourselves.

Toaster Coaster Co. is a landing pad designed specifically for the toaster — the appliance that lives on your counter every day and never had a proper home. Heat-safe powder-coated steel. A raised lip that catches every crumb. Clean lines that look good in any kitchen. Sized to fit most standard 2-slice and 4-slice toasters without taking over the counter.

It is not a tray repurposed from something else. It is not an afterthought. It was designed from the ground up for exactly one job — and made to do it beautifully.

We believe the best products solve problems people have stopped noticing. We believe functional objects can still be beautiful. We believe every appliance in your home deserves a purpose-built place — not a workaround.

Toaster Coaster Co. started in our kitchen. It was made for kitchens like yours.

For the hangry girls who started it all — and every family who deserves a cleaner counter.
